Charmine E.J. Hartel (PhD) is Professor of Organisational Behaviour in the Department of Management and Co-Director of Social Impacts of Organisational Behaviour programme at Monash University. She has 28 years of industry experience, 15 years of international industry consulting experience for companies such as ANZ, GE, IBM and AirServices Australia. Her current research and consulting activities focus on cross-cultural and interpersonal work relationships; organisational and personal characteristics that influence attitudes, behaviours, information processing, moral and psychological development, and emotions experienced at work; and identification of organisational systems that have a positive impact on individual, social, and economic well-being.
